Why tradition matters here

योगश्चित्तवृत्तिनिरोधः

Yoga is the stilling of the mind.

Patanjali, Yoga Sutras 1.2

Patanjali set down the Yoga Sutras in India more than 1,500 years ago. Dr. Seema was part of the founding medical team at Patanjali Yogpeeth, the institute named after him, and teaches in that classical tradition: posture, breath and stillness, adapted to your body with a doctor's care.
